The Roots of a Passion

Simon’s passion for fishing began in his childhood, following his grandfather along the streams of Béarn. At just four years old, Simon held his first rod, discovering the magic of fishing. Today, he passes on this passion to his two children, Lucien and Maurice, continuing a cherished family tradition.

Fishing as a Way of Life

For Simon, fishing is more than a hobby – it’s a way of life. So much so, that Simon has reorganised his professional life to dedicate time to his passion, finding true balance in moments of calm and total immersion in nature. His most treasured memories include mountain trips with friends, evenings around the fire after long hikes, or amusing moments with his grandfather, like the day he fell into the water while trying to retrieve his float.

Simon is also proud of his personal achievements. His greatest catch remains a gray trout (Cristivomer) measuring 80cm and weighing 5.5kg, caught under extreme conditions after a snowy mountain hike – a feat that earned him a feature in a specialised magazine.
