The Story

In 1970 Le Chameau introduced a boot that was to become a legend in the field. Created by Le Chameau master of design Marc Longuet with the “hunter'' in mind, our iconic Chasseur boot was the first rubber boot to have a waterproof full length zip. Hand crafted exclusively by one single master boot maker, after a long and rigorous apprenticeship, each Chasseur boot is a unique creation, made with precision, craftsmanship and assembly techniques handed down from generation to generation.

These are my third pair. I can't remember whenever I bought my first pair, but can say im getting over ten years wear per pair of boots. Warm and very comfortable. They only took 24 hours to arrive after placing my order

Measurements guide on website is completely wrong. Ordered 2cm larger than calf measurement-as advised- and they are way too big.

Hi James, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review - I am sorry to hear you have found these Wellington's to be too large allowing the 2cm. We advise measuring on bare skin and adding this extra 2cm for any trousers and socks you may like to wear inside of the boots. We do this as wearing boots that are too tight can restrict blood flow, causing issues such as cold feet and so having a little extra room helps prevent this.
