I have worn these new Wellington boots twice for about a quarter of an hour on each opccasion. I am not impressed at all. The side closure buckles are very difficult to close. On the second occasaion of putting the boots on, the buckle broke apart on the left boot. These buckles seem very cheap and not at all efficient. I speak as the owner of a pair of Le Chameau boots that I bought 22 years ago. Those buckles worked perfectly. Therefore I cannot understand why Le Chameau has changed to such a poor and breakable closure. I bought Le Chameau boots again now as I thought they were the best Wellington boots available on the market. Now I am very unimpressed with my new boots and I wonder how long it will be before the buckles snap off again.
