Description détaillée

Ces bottes emblématiques sont conçues pour la marche à la campagne. Confectionné à la main en caoutchouc naturel, le modèle est doublé en néoprène 3 mm pour un confort optimal par temps froid. Conçu sur une forme féminine en aluminium, ce modèle est doté d'un soufflet étanche et d'une bride de serrage pour permettre un parfait ajustement autour de la jambe et du mollet. Sa semelle bi-densité antichoc prévient la fatigue et résiste à l'abrasion, en plus d'être tout terrain.

Entretien du produit
  • Nettoyez vos bottes avec de l'eau et une brosse.
  • Laissez-les sécher à l'air libre.
  • Utilisez un spray au silicone et polissez-les avec un chiffon doux et sec.
  • Conservez vos bottes dans un endroit sec et ventilé, à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil et de toute source de chaleur.
  • Si les bottes sont mouillées, séchez soigneusement la doublure avant de les réutiliser.
  • Si vous rangez vos bottes pour une longue période, nettoyez-les soigneusement et rangez-les dans un endroit frais et sec, à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil.

En 1927, dans un village côtier de Normandie en France, Claude Chamot a eu l'idée de créer la paire de bottes en caoutchouc la plus confortable et la plus adaptée. Aujourd'hui, près de 100 ans plus tard, la vision de Monsieur Chamot est toujours d'actualité. Du premier au dernier geste, ces artisans font perdurer leur savoir-faire dans la fabrication de chaque paire Le Chameau.

Notre caoutchouc
Un certain nombre de facteurs vont déterminer la qualité du caoutchouc, comme notamment la saison (le Printemps est la saison idéale), mais aussi la pureté de l’air et la qualité des arbres. Le Chameau n’utilise que du caoutchouc de catégorie A, de couleur claire et à faible teneur en cendres et en saleté. Cette recette se base toujours sur le mélange original de Claude Chamot, produisant un caoutchouc doux, souple et durable, ce qui constitue la base de toutes nos bottes.
Construction de la semelle
Pour chaque type de semelle, la semelle de base est réalisée en versant notre caoutchouc au fond d’un moule en deux parties. Le moule est fermé, mis sous pression et cuit. Comme le caoutchouc chauffe et se propage à travers le moule, il prend la forme de la semelle. Différents éléments sont ensuite ajoutés au processus, selon le type de semelle souhaité.
Préparation de nos doublures
Nous fournissons des doublures différentes, comme un néoprène isolant et réconfortant, de la laine, un cuir souple haut de gamme ou encore un jersey léger qui sèche rapidement.

L’élément le plus important dans notre processus de fabrication sont nos employés. Nous sommes fiers d’avoir plusieurs générations de Maître bottiers dans notre famille Le Chameau, un rôle primordial et technique qui nécessite plus de neuf mois de formation intensive.
