Même lac. Nouvelle prise.
Just like landscapes eroding over time, we are never quite the same as we were, but you can always make out an outline. It’s when we take new steps, break new ground, and clear new tracks that the extraordinary happens. Every day reminds us that there is much left to explore. But it’s only when we reach the top of the hill, the edge of the forest, or the shore of the lake, that we see that the landscapes appear both lived in and unlike anything we've seen before. Everywhere around us, stories and heritage intertwine. Those who came before us trod these paths a million times. But the wonder of the outdoors and the joy of mapping the wild remain the same.
Each pair of Vierzonord boots is handcrafted by one master bootmaker, just like every pair of Le Chameau boots since 1927. A comfortable neoprene lining means these boots are particularly well suited for the colder months, when stepping into the water to recast your lines becomes more challenging. Charley Bunce is writing a new page of Le Chameau’s history with her Vierzonord boots, whether she’s continuing a longstanding family tradition with her father or captaining the Welsh Ladies Carp team in international competitions.

Since 1927, the master bootmakers of Le Chameau have handcrafted the highest quality rubber boots, one pair at a time. There are many parallels to be drawn between artisanal cooking and what we stand for at Le Chameau. We have a special story of our own. We use the best available materials. Our master bootmakers work with meticulous attention to detail. They truly care, too. Their craft is steeped in history, a product of inherited knowledge and passion. And the people who live and work on and off the land – the farmers, the fishermen, the foragers and the chefs – know this. They’ve known it for generations.
