From high seas to home shores, we proudly welcome back our cohort of Vendée Globe ambassadors from their participation in the world’s most demanding solo sailing race.
Grounded in two of our iconic maritime styles — Neptune and Pontus — Guirec Soudée, Violette Dorange, Benjamin Ferré, Denis Va Weynbergh, Jean Le Cam and Eric Bellion embody the spirit of resilience at the heart of Le Chameau since 1927.
The ultimate test of endurance, skill and courage, Vendée Globe pushes sailors to their limits as they navigate 24,000 nautical miles of treacherous waters without assistance.
The pinnacle of solo ocean racing, Vendée Globe saw sailors depart from Les Sables-d’Olonne in France in early November 2024 — embarking on an epic circumnavigation of Antarctica via the Atlantic Ocean. Relying solely on their expertise and determination, sailors battle unpredictable weather conditions, towering waves and months of isolation at sea.

Named after the Greek god of the sea, Pontus is engineered for unrivalled durability and comfort. Crafted from saltwater-resistant leather with an insulating four-layer membrane, the breathable and moisture wicking style ensures performance in conditions as cold as -20°C.
As our intrepid ambassadors return to home soil, we celebrate their achievements and the unwavering dedication that carried them through their epic open-ocean challenges.
