On May 4th Le Chameau sponsored a Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot hosted by Her Grace the Duchess of Rutland. Set in the magnificent grounds of Belvoir Castle in the heart of Leicestershire, guests enjoyed the rolling hills and picturesque grounds of this fantastic location overlooked by the impressive turrets and towers of the castle. The shoot saw 25 teams competing to raise money for two fantastic charities; the international wildlife charity Born Free Foundation and the global animal protection organization Humane Society International. [caption id="attachment_543" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Le Chameau team members Simon Ward and Liam Botham[/caption] Amongst the 25 teams were 6 Le Chameau team members including Simon Ward, considered one of the best shooting instructors in Britain. A fantastic day was had by all who participated. Congratulations to the winning team Silver Fox; Pru Ward, Harry Ansell, Liam Botham, captained by Simon Ward, and to everyone else who took part. The total raised for the two charities amounts to over £50,000. We'd also like to thank Belvoir Castle for a wonderful event and the other sponsors Stratstone Land Rover Nottingham, Adrian Flux Insurance, Bentley of Leicester, Chandlers Farm Equipment, NFU Melton Mowbray, Radnor Hills Water and Executive Linen Hire & Majestic Wine Warehouse.
