The Imperfect Saint-Hubert Leather wellington boot is a less than perfect boot which may have a minor fault. These faults include discolouration, scratches, blemishes, slight damage or inconsistencies. It is fit for purpose and is fully waterproof. Combining Le Chameau savoir-faire with premium leather and our secret recipe natural rubber. As with all Le Chameau rubber wellington boots the Saint-Hubert is handcrafted by a single master bootmaker using the same techniques passed on from generation to generation. Instantly recognisable with their elegant shape, the Saint-Hubert is a firm favourite in France.

Please note this product has a small drill hole punched in the top of the boot to mark it as Imperfect and arrives in a non-branded brown box with no tissue paper.

RUBBER BOOT CARE

  • Clean your boots with nothing more than water and a brush.
  • Let the boots air dry.
  • Use a silicone spray and polish using a soft, dry cloth.
  • Keep your boots in a dry and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and away from any heat source.
  • If the boots get wet, please dry the lining thoroughly before using them again. Crumpled newspaper will help.
  • If storing your boots for a long period, clean them thoroughly and store away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.

  • Leather Boot Care

  • Use a brush to remove any loose dirt, only use a stiff brush on the soles as this can scratch and damage the leather.
  • Further clean with a damp rag using a dedicated leather cleaner if you have one.
  • Make sure you allow your leather boots to fully air dry.
  • Apply a boot oil, leather conditioner or weather sealant so no moisture is locked in.
  • If storing your boots for a long period, clean them thoroughly and store away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.

  • See full boot care guide.
