Our women's Vierzonord is the perfect neoprene boot for everyday country life. Famed for being the original rubber wellington boot to feature an adjustable waterproof gusset, the Vierzonord also boasts an insulating neoprene lining that will keep you warm and comfortable all day.

Please note: Neoprene has wonderful insulation properties, but it is not a breathable material. If you wear neoprene-lined boots in warm temperatures, or if your feet heat up while you are wearing them, you may perspire.

Im Jahr 1927, hatte Claude Chamot in einem Küstendorf in der französischen Normandie eine Vision: Er wollte den bequemsten und bestsitzenden Gummistiefel erschaffen. Beinahe 100 Jahre später ist die Vision von Monsieur Chamot so aktuell wie an ihrem Anfang.

Unser Kautschuk
Wie bei jedem anderen Naturprodukt hängt auch beim Kautschuk die Qualität davon ab, wie er produziert wird. Bei Le Chameau verwenden wir ausschließlich Kautschuk der Qualitätsgruppe A. Dieser ist hell in seiner Farbe und weist einen niedrigen Anteil an Asche und Schmutz auf. Unser Rezept basiert bis heute auf der originalen Mischung von Claude Chamot. Sie ist der Garant für weichen, elastischen und widerstandsfähigen Kautschuk, aus dem all unsere Stiefel gefertigt werden.
Aufbau der Sohle
Allen Varianten gemein ist es, dass für die Grundsohle der nach Rezept entstandene Kautschuk in den Boden einer zweiteiligen Form gegeben wird. Die Form wird dann geschlossen und unter Druck erhitzt. Wenn sich der Kautschuk erhitzt und in der Form ausbreitet, formt er die Sohle.
Vorbereitung unseres Innenfutters
Unsere Innenfutter werden in einem eigenen Arbeitsbereich innerhalb der Le Chameau Werkstatt gefertigt. Maschinen schneiden große Musterstücke aus, die anschließend einer strikten Qualitätsprüfung unterzogen werden. Unsere Stiefel sind mit einer Vielzahl an Innenfuttern erhältlich – von wärmendem Neopren oder Wolle über edles Leder bis hin zu leichtem, schnell trocknendem Jersey für optimalen Tragekomfort.

Der alles entscheidende Faktor im Herstellungsprozess unserer Stiefel sind unsere Menshen. Wir sind sehr stolz darauf, bei den Herstellungsstandards von Gummistiefeln Maßstäbe zu setzen.
